FAQ
Q: Which languages do you translate?
A. Arabic to Zulu and many in between. If you aren’t sure of the languages spoken in your target country or countries, we will help you identify your audience’s language and navigate any cultural differences that might affect the impact of material such as advertising copy or product labeling. For a quick tour of the different languages spoken around the world, please take a look at our Languages by Country Guide.
Q. I work in a specialized industry. Do you have translators qualified to handle my company’s material?
A. We work with our own network of professional translators who include PhD’s, MD’s, attorneys, engineers, biochemists, bankers, computer specialists and more. We carefully select the best translator or team of translators for each job based on their native language background, qualifications and industry specialized experience. Many specialize in specific fields and hold advanced degrees. All stay up to date on industry terminology and utilize cutting-edge translation memory tools to ensure consistency.
Q. The documents I need translated are confidential. What procedures do you have in place to ensure confidentiality?
A. All translators submit signed confidentiality agreements before commencing work for us. The Director of The Language Center will also sign a confidentiality agreement on behalf of the company. Our administrative personnel respect the sensitive nature of our clients’ work and no part of it is disclosed to third parties for any reason.

A. Yes, we can! We typeset in all languages, utilizing all major PC and MAC-based desktop publishing applications. Final files in your program of choice are delivered ready to print. Whether it’s a bilingual business card in Illustrator or an technical operations manual in Quark, we can handle it.
Q. Do you certify your translations?
A. As a NJ State Certified translation agency, we can provide a notarized Certification of Translation upon request. We also offer certificates of accuracy for any existing translations that need to be reviewed and certified by a third party.
Q. We need a translation right away. Do you accept rush jobs?
A. Absolutely. We are committed to fulfilling our clients’ needs, no matter how tight the deadline. Global time differences enable us to choose translators who can work on your project overnight and deliver right on time.
Q. All I have is hard copy and some is handwritten. How will the translation come back to me?
A. Translations are returned in electronic format in any major PC or Mac-based program. We can overwrite your existing files or create entirely new that match your original’s format as closely as possible. Final delivery is made by email, Webcargo file transfer for large files, or courier by request.

A. The Language Center offers very competitive rates, as well as volume discounts on single and long-term continuing projects. We also feature a flexible pricing structure when dealing with large quantities of repetitive text. The price of translation varies based on the language and subject matter, so we encourage clients to contact us and request a comprehensive cost estimate.
